Sejin Moon has known since childhood that she wanted to become a photographer. Her passion to master the art led her after high school to undertake formal studies in photography in South Korea. Since 2000 while pursuing her university studies, she has worked independently as a part-time photographer.
In 2003, Sejin moved to Edinburgh UK, where she started an independent business as a portrait
photographer, while continuing her studies.

Sejin is just as comfortable taking photographs in the portrait studio or outside, in the rough and tumble of “real” life.
Her passion is to capture life’s events – not only in staged studio poses, but also in the hustle and bustle of events as they unfold, unscripted and “real”. It is this focus on capturing the essence of the moment that sets her wedding photography apart from the work of others. Sejin will be applying to study for a Masters Degree in Photography next year, and she hopes to make a career in photojournalism.
